IT'S A GIRL!!!!

So we had our ultrasound appointment and found out we're having a GIRL!  I really didn't think I would be this excited.  This whole time Brad and I have been sure it was going to be a boy, so we never even really thought what it would be for a girl.   I asked Brad what he thought and he just said the possibility never occurred to him!  lol   She must be alot like him because she was kind of stubborn in showing us her "girl parts".  She kept her legs together or would cross them.... but finally we were able to see what she was.  lol But on the side note of what gender we are having, I am so RELIEVED that everything is okay.  I kept having bad dreams that she was going to have extra parts! So this has calmed my nerves for sure!  Anyways here's a picture of our little gal's profile.  It took us a while to get a good view because she kept smashing her face up against the wall!  Like I said she is stubborn! 

Yay for Sunshine!

FINALLY we have some nice weather!  I have been so longing for it to warm up just a little and don't think for one minute that I haven't been taking advantage of it! I am in capri's and flip-flops!!!!    Brad and I so want to get our yard looking great this year, so I'm planning to start yard work this week!   Its going to be hard work, and even harder with all my extra weight I'm packin'! haha.   So look for pictures of our progress in the coming weeks!

That's life!

Okay so first things first,  our toilet is up and running again.  Brad replaced the insides and now it flushes great!  Thank goodness for him!  Now if I can get a head start on fixing up our yard! 

Next,  our ultrasound is scheduled for the 30th of this month!  I can't wait to find out what the sex of the baby is.  I don't really care if its a boy or girl, but my motherly instinct is telling me it's a boy, but if it's a girl I will be equally as thrilled!  I just am excited to find out so I can start to sew things, buy things oh and DECORATE!

Anywho, I thought I would update you all (if there is anyone who's reading this).   

As hard as I try I am NOT a handyman....uh handywoman.

I am always one to think I can do everything myself.   I mean seriously, who needs to call  for help for something simple like replacing the flapper in the toilet, right?  WRONG!  I totally screwed it up.  I first put it on and it kept running, I got sprayed in the face a few times.... and then when I tried to fix the running problem now it is LEAKING!   OH MY HECK!   I seriously don't know what to do right now except turn the water valve off til tomorrow, and maybe I can figure out whats wrong.   My hands are scraped up, sore, and not to mention I am slightly soaked.   Could this get any worse? I am really frustrated with myself more than ever.    Maybe its time to go to bed. 

Treated myself

Well I treated myself today.  I had Megan color and cut my hair.   It looks so cute!  She did such a good job.  I really needed it.   Here's a pic.
