October 4, 2011 Mile High Farm

Tuesday was Brad's Birthday and we decided to stay an extra day with my sister instead of making him take the long drive home.  We took the kids to a farm down the road from Ashley's how were they got to pet some animals go on a hay ride and pick a pumpkin.  It was fun but we definitely picked the wrong time of day because it was so hot!  But the kids had fun!

October 3, 2011 Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Monday we went to Denver's Museum of Nature and Science!  It was so cool and so much fun.  They had so many things to look at and explore.   They also had the Traveling SUE exhibit there which is the oldest living T.Rex discovered so far.  It was so cool but we couldn't take photos in there so you don't get to see any, but believe me it was neat. Brad's favorite part was the taxidermy, which was actually really neat.  Braleigh loved the kids discovery portion where she got to run and play.   Mine was probably the Health exhibit where you got to go and do different things to see how your body reacts.  It was a fun day.
