Braleigh's 1st Birthday!

This past year has gone by too fast! My baby turned on on Monday and I can't believe it. I feel like if I blink anymore she is going to be all grown up. I know this is nothing new to you parents out there. I was so sad but happy at the same time. Although we had a pretty good day. Braleigh was able to open her presents from me and Brad in the morning, which include a SANDBOX which she absolutely loved :) And then later in the afternoon we had a small party with our family. I know she is only one and won't remember anything that I did, but I loved prepping for it. It was an OWL theme (as you can see by the pictures). I'm sure it will just get more crazy as she gets older.
Also we had Braleigh's one year well child check up, she is still at the top of he growth curve in her height!  She is 31 1/4 inches and 20 lbs 6 oz..... Which also means we could turn her car seat around!  I sure hope that makes our car rides more pleasant.   Well anyways its late and I probably should go to bed since its late.

Quick update!

So Braleigh is WALKING!!!!!   Crazy I know!   So she has been taking a couple steps here and there the past couple weeks but never a whole bunch, and then a couple days ago she started trying to go further and further, and today she seriously was trying to go ALL over the house.  I can't believe it.   She still stumbles and I'm sure she'll get better as she works at it but she can now walk from one room to the next without falling.   (keep in mind our house is small so probably still not that far)   I am so amazed at how fast she is growing up.   In just a few weeks she is going to be 1!  I've been planning a little party for our family which I know she won't remember but I'm going to love it.  The theme is going to be Owls, its going to be so cute.  I'll make sure we take (or Brad takes) lots of pictures so we can post them.     It is so crazy to think that last year I was ready for her to get her and time couldn't have been going any slower and now I can't get it to slow down at all.   I miss her being tiny, but yet I'm loving how independent she is becoming (partially because I'm starting to get some of my sanity back).   We are struggling a little with her tantrums already which makes me think about what its going to be like when she gets older.  Ugh.  I seriously have a little drama queen/ diva on my hands.

I've also finally posted something to Meg and I's Craft blog.   So look for more fun to come on that.    I think now that I'm going to have a little more spare time I can craft more and post about it.  Meg and I have so many fun projects planned (a lot for her new home) I can't wait to show them off.

I'll leave you with a few of my favorite pictures.
